International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials (ARCI) is looking to engage talented candidates, having a consistently good academic record and with a strong zeal and motivation to pursue innovative research, to contribute to its various time-bound sponsored projects as well as its in-house major programs. The selected candidates shall be awarded Senior ARCI Fellowship (SAF)/Junior ARCI Fellowship (JAF) depending upon their qualifications.
No. of Felloships: Upto FIFTY (50)
Value of the Fellowship:
- Rs. 25,000/- p.m. for Senior ARCI Fellowship (SAF)
- Rs. 22,000/- p.m. for Junior ARCI Fellowship (JAF) to candidates with NET/ GATE qualification.
- Rs. 20,000/- p.m. for Junior ARCI Fellowship (JAF) to candidates without NET/GATE qualification.
Duration of the Fellowship:
upto a maximum period of 3 years. In case of candidates who register for Ph.D., the fellowship award may be extended upto 5 years.
Eligibility:
For Senior ARCI Fellowship:
- First class M.E/M.Tech./M.S. or equivalent
- Engineering/Science students who are presently in their final year/semester and expected to complete their degrees by June/July 2012.

For Junior ARCI Fellowship:

First class B.E/ B.Tech /M.Sc. or equivalent
- Engineering/Science students who are presently in their final year/semester and expected to complete their degrees by June/July 2012.

Specialization:
Mechanical/Metallurgical/Ceramic/Chemical Engineering OR Nanoscience/Nanotechnology OR Materials Science/Physical Chemistry/Polymer Chemistry/Applied Chemistry/Electro-Chemistry/Physics/ Chemistry
Research Area in which the selected candidate will be working Nanomaterials, Ceramics Processing, Engineered Coatings, Sol-Gel Coatings, Laser Processing of Materials, Fuel Cells, Solar Energy, Automotive Materials and Intellectual Property Management.
