JEE(Main) – 2018 on 8th April

Central Board of Secondary Education- CBSE (JEE Apex Board) invites applications from the eligible candidates for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programmes in NITs, IIITs and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions etc through Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2018.
Adminissions Eligibility:
Candidates are suggested to check the JEE Main 2018 eligibility criteria before applying:

For BE/B Tech: Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.

For B.Arch/ B.Planning:
Passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics.
  • Candidates appearing/passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2016 or 2017 with PCM are eligible to apply.
  • Number of Attempts: Candidate can attempt JEE Main exam three times only.
  • Diploma (3 years) holders are also eligible to apply.

Age:
  • Candidates should be born on or after 1st October 1993.
  • Date of Birth will be considered as mentioned in secondary education board certificate.
  • 5 years relaxation i.e. DOB falls on or after 1st October 1988 shall be provided in the upper age limit for SC/ST & PWD candidates.

Note: The States of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Nagaland & Odisha have joined JEE (Main) system. Therefore, the candidates seeking admission to the institutions in these states, which were earlier admitting based on their State level examination, are also advised to fill in the JEE (Main) -2018 application form online.

  • Application start date: 1st December, 2017.
  • Last date: 1st January, 2018.
  • Date of exam- JEE (Main) - 8th April, 2018.
  • Date of JEE Main online exam: 15 & 16, April, 2018.
