Jawahar Knowledge Center

The Jawahar Knowledge Center (JKC), an initiative of A.P Society for Knowledge Networks was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to impart training through Industry & Academia experts in close interaction to produce readily employable graduates. The main purpose of the project is to empower students living in rural areas and to bridge the urban rural divide by training the students in imparting English and Communication Skills, Aptitude and basic Computer Skills.

The Government of AP has setup an action plan to provide employable skills through the JKC to 2 lakh students of which 50,000 are from Engineering stream and 1.5 Lakh are from Arts & Science background.

Some of the Salient Features of the JKC project:
  • Providing Employment Opportunities through Rajiv Udyogasri Portal
  • Conducting Campus Placement with Major MNCs
  • Training by Enabled Faculty/ Industry on employable skills
How to Register
The students can obtain the registration form from the JKC website.
The filled in registration form attested by college Principal / TPO is to be sent through the College TPO / JKC In-charge to Institute for Electronic Governance, Ground Floor, APSCHE Building, JNTU Campus, Masabtank, Hyderabad
The registration fee of Rs. 3000/- DD to be drawn in favour of Institute for Electronic Governance
The college TPO / JKC in-charge collects the applications along with the DDs from the candidates and sends them to the JKC office
Upon receiving the applications, the JKC would send the login details of the respective candidates to the college TPO / JKC in-charge
The students are supposed to login into their respective accounts on JKC portal with the given User ID, Password and complete their profile updating to complete the registration process
